I am embarking on the journey.  I am not ok with profitting from oil, human rights violations, violence against animals, chemicals, health insurance or any of the parts of society that seek to oppress and destroy.  Yes, even at the expense of perhaps passing up a few bucks for my 401K.  But then again, it isn't all about me all of the time is it?  We are better working together.

I get accused of being a communist all of the time.  Mental note to self - must learn to communicate better!  I am a capitalist - I believe - in the truest sense.  People should be able to elevate themselves financially as a result of innovation and creatvity.  I don't quite get what's going on now... Stepping on each other without regard for how things might play out long term or - god forbid - how future generations are going to fare.  Makes me wonder if it is wise to to think of motherhood anymore...  That can be a discussion for another day.
